take care of your patients. Obesity Surgery is in the process of an exciting and
rapid evolution. Our primary technique is a sophisticated and unique Roux-en Y that is
safe with excellent results.
At the Alexander Center for Obesity Surgery, our team of Board Certified Doctors
and ancillary health professionals have worked extremely hard for so many years
to provide the safest and most comprehensive care for your patient. This is a
private practice and we want to make sure that your patient will get good,
traditional private care.
We perform this procedure via mini-laparotomy which consists of three to four
inches of upper mid-abdomen incision or by laparoscopy. The surgery takes as an
average one and a half to two hours and the hospitalization is on average only
two nights.
When you refer a patient to us we immediately will call you and get you involved
in the pre and post surgical care. We will try to orient your office staff and
help them to facilitate the process of surgery and follow up for your patient. I
